With clinical examples, the lecture will shed light on clinical situations frequently encountered in mental health services. The talk will explore how in the present climate, the pressure to cure symptoms as fast as possible can be likened to seeking joy in immediate satisfaction, rather than in the reality of the slow path to recovery.
