Dialogue | Fragility in the time of Covid-19

Registration is closed for this event
The second event in the Dialogues on the time of Covid-19 series, will be looking at how the pandemic has exposed fragility on many different levels.

These dialogues will be delivered remotely via Zoom

Tuesday 17th November
8:15pm - 9:45pm

The pandemic has exposed fragility on many different levels: of the individual’s health to the deadly effects of the virus, of families to separation and loss, of politicians and political structures to the immense challenges of a severe crisis, and of the health and social care system. It has also shown what damage omnipotent defences with the denial of such fragilities can do.

Fakhry Davids - Psychoanalyst and Author of "Internal Racism" and Sally Weintrobe - Psychoanalyst and Author of "Engaging with Climate Change" will be in dialogue about these issues.

Chaired by Daniel Pick - Psychoanalyst, Historian and Author of "The Pursuit of the Nazi Mind"
