Encountering Bion

The unveiling of a bronze bust of Wilfred Bion by his son Julian will commemorate the seventy-five years since Bion’s election to membership of the British Society. This will be followed by two short papers 'The Imaginary Twin – Then and Now’, by Joseph Aguayo with discussant Bob Hinshelwood on Bion’s membership paper about a difficult analysis, and ‘Encountering Bion’, by Nicola Abel-Hirsch with discussant Jani Santamaria. The event will be chaired by Andrew Briggs.
