The Summer School is an introduction to key concepts in psychoanalysis, offered by the Institute of Psychoanalysis and Birkbeck Institute of Social Research.
This event is open to everyone, including current undergraduate and postgraduate students from any discipline or background. You do not need to have any prior knowledge or experience of psychoanalysis.
Seminars and discussions will be led by practising analysts and you will have the chance to join a small discussion group.
Film screening of Blind Trust (dir. Molly Castelloe, 2022), an award-winning film about Dr Vamik Volkan's work as a psychoanalyst, bringing representatives of enemy groups together for dialogue in traumatised regions of the world. View bios for Blind Trust screening.
