Maudsley Lectures in Psychoanalysis | Dialogues between Body and Mind

The Autumn 2022 series of The Maudsley Lectures | Dialogues about Bodies and Minds

Dialogues between Body and Mind

Understanding the work that goes on in medical and surgical settings through a series of dialogues between psychoanalysts and medical and surgical colleagues.

The Maudsley Lectures in Psychoanalysis are a series of Institute of Psychoanalysis talks that explore the application of psychoanalytic ideas to clinical work. This autumn there will be a series of dialogues that will bring a psychoanalytic perspective to a range of clinical settings.

These dialogues are open to everyone and will be of particular interest to clinicians working in medicine, surgery, psychiatry, psychology, psychotherapy, nursing, psychoanalysis, general practice and other areas of mental and physical health.

The dialogues will be followed by open discussion with the hybrid audience

  • Lectures are on Mondays from 6:30pm to 8pm - UK time.
  • Hybrid event - 30 places available at 10 Windsor Walk SE5 8BB and online via Zoom.
  • Each lecture lasts about an hour followed by time for discussion and contributions from the audience.
