Dialogues between Body and Mind
Understanding the work that goes on in medical and surgical settings through a series of dialogues between psychoanalysts and medical, surgical and mental health colleagues.
The Maudsley Lectures in Psychoanalysis are a series of Institute of Psychoanalysis talks that explore the application of psychoanalytic ideas to clinical work. This autumn there will be a series of dialogues that will bring a psychoanalytic perspective to a range of clinical settings.
These dialogues are open to everyone and will be of particular interest to clinicians working in medicine, surgery, psychiatry, psychology, psychotherapy, nursing, psychoanalysis, general practice and other areas of mental and physical health.
The dialogues will be followed by open discussion with the hybrid audience
