Child and Adolescent Analysis - Clinical Work Discussion Seminar | 19th July

Dr Luis Rodríguez de la Sierra is a Training and Supervisor Adult and Child and Adolescent Psychoanalyst of the British Psycho-Analytical Society. He did his medical training in Barcelona. He qualified as a psychiatrist in Barcelona and London, where he also trained as a group psychotherapist. He worked for many years in the NHS and at the Anna Freud Centre and works now at the London Clinic of Psycho-Analysis and in private practice. He is a member of the SEPEA in Paris and of The Association for Child Psychoanalysis (ACP) in the USA. He lectures and teaches in this country and abroad in several European and American countries. He has published papers on child analysis, adolescence, ballet, and alcoholism and drug addiction He has also edited “Child Analysis Today” and written the late teenage years with Dr Joan Schachter.

Summary

A clinical presentation of the 5 times a week psychoanalysis of an adolescent boy born with a physical problem and the impact of that on his psychological development.
