The level of this series is advanced and is suitable for qualified and experienced psychoanalytic and psychodynamic clinicians.
Entry requirement: You will need to be a member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) or the Association of Child Psychotherapists (ACP) to attend.

The series will address and provide an overview of psychoanalytic thinking on a range of subjects relevant to the themes of Race to and Diversity. Drawing on their unique clinical experience the lecturers will outline their psychoanalytic thinking on these topics, providing clinical illustrations and, where relevant, sharing the theoretical ideas that underpin their work.
The meetings will be structured around the lectures, followed by small discussion groups, each facilitated by a psychoanalyst. The members of the seminar groups will stay consistent throughout, attendees of the seminar groups have the chance to present some clinical material.
The lectures and seminars will be held weekly in two parts over the summer term 2025. Each part will consist of five sets of lectures and seminars, followed by a final reflective group session at the end of the series. The aim of this session is to provide participants with a space to review and reflect on their experience of the series.
