Struggling with reparation in latency and adolescence

When children and young people love, they also hate, and when they become concerned about their loved objects, they attempt to make reparation to damage they caused to their loved ones.

In this paper, Dr Gil Son I will explore the struggles of latency children and adolescents in their approaches to reparation. Some are more genuine reparations, some are very weak and non-lasting, and some are turned into the restitution of the self. The role of confusion and difficulties of symbolisation will be discussed in clinical vignettes.
