This year our speaker is Helena Ann Kennedy, Baroness Kennedy of The Shaws, QC, FRSA, HonFRSE is a Scottish barrister, broadcaster, and Labour member of the House of Lords. She served as Principal of Mansfield College, Oxford from 2011 to 2018.

Established in 1944 at a Council meeting of the British Psychoanalytical Society chaired by Sylvia Payne, the Ernest Jones Lecture has a rich history of inviting audiences to hear from experts at the forefront of almost every discipline, including anthropology, sculpture, literature, theatre, sociology, philosophy and the law.
