Introductory Lectures - Penrith

Registration is closed for this event
These introductory lectures, held in Cumbria, will be of interest to anyone wishing to find out more about psychoanalytical ways of thinking about the mind and the world.

Are you interested in finding out about psychoanalytical ways of thinking about the world and the mind?

If so this series of Lectures and Seminars will be of interest to you. Each lecture is followed by small group discussion and the series provides an overall view of the core concepts in psychoanalysis and their main applications.

Although the lectures are introductory in the sense of not requiring prior academic or clinical experience of psychoanalysis or psychotherapy, both junior and experienced clinicians and those from a variety of professional backgrounds have found them valuable and stimulating. There will be a mixture of live lecturers and DVDs from the London series.

Anyone who is interested is invited to apply.
The two facilitators of the discussion seminars, Dr Elizabeth Gibb and Ms Veronica Gore, are psychoanalysts living in Cumbria. They, and the psychoanalysts giving the lectures, are experienced clinicians and teachers and members of the British Psychoanalytical Society.

For seminar enquiries please contact: Veronica Gore: vagore16@gmail.com or Elizabeth Gibb: elizabeth.gibb@iopa.org.uk
