Trauma: Its effects on families and the staff working to help them

The Institute of Psychoanalysis invites you to this multi-disciplinary education event for all frontline NHS workers who have worked with traumatised patients and their families. This will be an opportunity to reflect on the impact on staff as well as service users.

Join colleagues from the Central and North West London Foundation Trust, the Grenfell Trauma Service, Child Psychiatrists, Child Psychotherapists and many others to share your experience in discussion groups led by psychoanalysts.

There will be talks by: 
Caroline Garland 
International expert in Trauma and founding Head of Trauma services at Tavistock Clinic

Bernard Roberts 
Psychoanalyst for adults and children, Head of The Child and Adolescent Clinic at The IOPA, former Lead Consultant Psychotherapist at CNWL

Plus dedicated time to hear your experience of this work in seminar groups facilitated by psychoanalyts working in CNWL

Please note: Certificates of attendance will be provided. CNWL will be able to submit this event as CPD. Please check with your CPD body if you work outside of the Trust.
