Rael Meyerowitz
Difficult passage: transience, transference and transition in psychoanalysis

During this event, Rael will explore various aspects of the titles themes, at different levels within our discipline and practice: in the cultural history of the psychoanalytic movement itself; in the language of psychoanalysis and the terms it has come to use; in the very mission of clinical psychoanalysis and the effects or results we wish to achieve with our patients both externally and internally.

Rael Meyerowitz is a member of the BPAS, a psychoanalyst in private practice and an adult psychotherapist at the Tavistock Clinic. He teaches on various psychoanalytic training programmes and courses. Having come from an academic background, he has a long-standing interest in the intersections and textual relations because psychoanalysis and literature.
