The Clinical Paradigms of Melanie Klein and Donald Winnicott: Comparisons and Dialogues

Celebrating the collaboration between Department for Psychosocial and  Psychoanalytic Studies at the University of Essex and the Institute of Psychoanalysis.

Karl Figlio, Emeritus Professor, will talk about setting up the link and Denis Flynn, current Visiting Professor will talk about the book, followed by a discussion by authors Jan Abram, the first Institute Visiting Professor, and Bob Hinshelwood, also Emeritus Professor.

But this is mainly a social event not only to celebrate joint work and research between the University and the Institute but also an attempt at a dialogue between two important British schools of psychoanalysis. 

There will be wine and refreshments and you are all kindly invited to come and join us to celebrate.
