The papers will be followed by audience discussio n.\n \n Dana Birksted-Breen \;is a training an d supervising psychoanalyst of the British Psychoa nalytical Society. She was the \;General Edito r of the New Library of Psychoanalysis (2000-2010) \, initiating \;the New Library Teaching Serie s \;in 2005\, \;and \;she was the  \;Editor-in-Chief of the \;International Journ al of Psychoanalysis \;(2007-2022). Dana was e lected \;as a Distinguished Fellow of the Brit ish Psychoanalytical Society in 2022.\n \n Dana Bi rksted-Breen is interested in the points of connec tion and disconnection between theory and practice \, and the creative spaces between the two. Over m any years she has investigated ideas of identity\, sexuality\, symbolization\, temporality\, and the psychoanalyst&rsquo\;s mode of attention in the s ession\, publishing books and papers on these area s.\n \n In \;2021 \;she edited \;Trans lation/Transformation\, 100 Years of the Internati onal Journal of Psychoanalysis. \;Her latest m onograph\, \;The Work of \;Psychoanalysis\ , Sexuality\, Time \;and the Psychoanalytic Mi nd\, \;was \;published by the New Library of Psychoanalysis (2016).
