  <p>Whether you are completely new to psychoanalys
 is\, or you wish to deepen the knowledge you alrea
 dy have\, the Introductory Lectures will help you 
 discover key psychoanalytic concepts and how they 
 apply in the consulting room and beyond.</p>\n \n 
 <p>You'll hear from psychoanalysts at the forefron
 t of psychoanalytic practice\, including those who
  have trained\, taught and supervised at leading u
 niversities and treatment centres like the Tavisto
 ck Clinic\, The Portman Clinic and the Maudsley Ho
 spital.</p>\n \n <hr />\n <p>These lectures will l
 ast for approximately one hour and will cover a va
 riety of topics. You'll have the opportunity to as
 k the lecturer questions during the Q&A session.</
 p>\n \n <p>Following the lecture\, there will be a
  short break before we move into smaller discussio
 n groups. These groups\, lasting 40 minutes\, prov
 ide the setting for collaborative exploration and 
 deepen your understanding of the lecture's themes.
  You'll stay in the same discussion group througho
 ut the term\, fostering a supportive environment w
 here you can delve into the topic together. We are
  offering an AM seminar group and recordings of mo
 st lectures for those who cannot attend on Wednesd
 ays. (AM seminar group spaces are limited\, please
  choose that option when completing the registrati

  will provide you with a comprehensive reading lis
 t with core and additional reading references for 
 each lecture\, that will allow you to expand your 
 knowledge beyond the lectures. The reading materia
 l can be accessed via PEP web (Psychoanalytic Elec
 tronic Publishing Web) which is a subscription-bas
 ed online collection of current and past psychoana
 lytic journals and papers. You will need to have a
 n account to access the readings which you can pur
 chase at a discounted rate when you book your tick
