 sychoanalysis - topics and dynamics central to psy
 chic life that are avoided or left unexamined. Usi
 ng clinical cases\, institutional analysis\, and t
 heory\, it looks at how the field engages with iss
 ues like race\, religion\, gender\, and systemic o
 ppression. Drawing on examples such as the Tavisto
 ck Clinic’s work on gender identity\, the experien
 ces of Black analysts\, and tensions within psycho
 analytic institutions\, it argues for a shift in p
 ractice that addresses these areas while preservin
 g a focus on the unconscious.</p>\n \n <hr />\n <p
