Josh Cohen
Life, Death and Psychoanalysis in Shadow of the Pandemic
Chaired by: Emma Hotopf, Maxine Dennis, Antje Netzer-Stein

This lecture will explore the concept of the "death drive" in light of the current pandemic. From our consulting rooms, psychoanalysts are experiencing the diverse effects of the compression of our patient's (and our own) lives into increasingly tight physical psychic spaces. Under these conditions, it can be very difficult to discern if the "life drive" or the "death drive" is at work.

6.30pm - 8.00pm

Concession tickets are available, for students, BPAS candidates and NHS trainees. Please email outreach@iopa.org.uk if you are unsure if you qualify for a concession ticket.

REFUND POLICY: Tickets are fully refundable until 14 days before the lecture, after which time no refunds will be issued
