E-learning & Audio Visual Technician
The Institute is expanding its use of learning technology to create online and blended learning courses, and to create a digital record of key academic activities. To support these developments the Institute seeks to appoint a part-time e-learning and audio visual technician on a two year renewable contract.
The post holder will work closely with the Head of Learning Technology and Bespoke Courses, being responsible for all recording and editing of e-learning material as well as course creation on our Moodle platform. The post holder will have extensive experience in filming and editing, will be responsible for the scheduling and recordings, will liaise with the membership, the Archivist and with the Office Manager, assisting him on website related tasks and general office tasks when necessary.
This newly created role will require the post-holder to have film and editing experience, in particular using Adobe Premier Pro (essential), excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure and flexibility with days/hours of work. Some knowledge of psychoanalysis would be desirable.
Foreign language skills and experience of work in an international environment would also be an advantage.
